840,000 doses of Nuvaxovid PFS, a Novavax vaccine, have been released in the national lot.

The MFDS (Minister Kim Kang-rip) announced on the 8th that SK Bioscience has approved 840,000 Nuvaxovid PFS manufactured in Korea for the first time. Nuvaxovid PFS, which was approved for shipment to the country this time, is a vaccine manufactured in a way that has already been used for hepatitis B and cervical cancer vaccines.

The vaccine can be immediately inoculated with a PFS-typed single injection that contains one dose per vaccine without dilution or subdividing, and the MFDS expects people to be vaccinated conveniently, such as being used for visits by elderly and severely disabled people.
