The proposal to set a new budget worth KRW 14.4 billion to support the patients’ medical expenses of ultra-high-priced new drugs for rare diseases will be reviewed by the Adjustment Subcommittee of the National Assembly’s Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.

A plan to increase the budget for the K-global vaccine fund project by KRW 40 billion or KRW 20 billion from the KRW 10 billion that was originally submitted by the government, will also be discussed at the Adjustment Subcommittee of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.

The Adjustment Subcommittee of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts will be reviewing the agendas above on the 16th.
