An amendment to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act passed the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 30th, including permitting the use of investigational drugs overseas for therapeutic purposes, establishing a basis for prompt action against online illegal activities of drugs, and strengthening education and publicity on the labeling of drugs for consumers. This amendment will be transferred from the National Assembly to the government and promulgated and will come into effect six months after the date of promulgation.
