The cytomegalovirus treatment ‘Livtencity’ can now be prescribed at general hospitals in Korea.

According to industry sources, Takeda Pharmaceuticals Korea’s Livtencity has passed the Drug Committees (DCs) of tertiary hospitals in Korea including Samsung Medical Center, Saint Mary's Hospital, Asan Medical Center, and Sinchon Severance Hospital, as well as other medical institutions such as the Kyungpook National University Hospital, Jeonbuk National University Hospital, and Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a type of herpes virus that's extremely common worldwide. Over 60% of all adults are infected with CMV within their lifetime and typically develo
