Only the Korean Pharmaceutical Association is in favor..."Eliminating administrative inconvenience and streamlining procedures to activate dispensing substitute drugs.¡±
The Ministry of Health and Welfare has not changed its stance on the bill, saying it should be carefully reviewed considering the scope of the HIRA¡¯s work and concerns about the safety of drug use caused by the increased notification term.
Physicians and hospital organizations are also opposed to the expansion of post-notification, citing concerns that it would undermine the doctors' prescription rights and delay the time of notification
