The MOHW approved the '2nd National Health Insurance Comprehensive Plan' for 2025 by the Health Insurance Policy Review Committee



The government will reportedly provide necessary administrative support for a stable supply of essential drugs and medications and improve the system so that innovative new drugs and new medical devices can quickly introduced into medical practices.

Preferential pricing for national essential drugs that use domestically sourced raw materials will be implemented in the first half of this year. In contrast, the government will continuously increase the prices of drugs that are in supply instability.
